NY Fashion Week Fall 2009 Review

Fashion week certainly didn't disappoint. The economic meltdown at current was not a concern, as the designers collections flourished. Geometric designs, cold-weather pileups, see-through sheers, animal prints galore, embellishments that shined, brushstroke prints, dresses that spoke volumes, masculinity, eighties inspired neon's and metallic’s prevailed. Victoria Beckham gave us her take on timeless classics, with sultry evening gowns. Rag & Bone demonstrated their take on boyfriend blazers, while Frank Tell got flirty with his ruffled blouses and party dresses. Preen says peek-a-boo for Fall with racy dresses…and last but not least, DKNY's structured pieces certainly had a modern girl in mind.
