Fashion Week Recap: New York, Paris, Milan, & London--

The fashion industry's shows went full throttle for Fall 2009. "Investment dressing" brought unique statement pieces, displaying escapism and inventiveness. Little black dresses, 1950s pencil skirts, high-waisted pants and tailored blouses proved classic's back. New York, Paris and Milan's design sensibility shone through, while London's freak flag flew high. PPQ's seventies rock chicks, and House of Holland's kooky collection infused fun.
